Multiple OS in VPS Servers
We offer you as many as 3 different Linux releases for the Operating System of our VPS servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are among the most stable and reliable OSs you can get and we supply all 3 rather than just one since we realize that you might want to set up some software which has specific requirements regarding the Operating System it'll run on. The latter is because each of the three Operating Systems has a large support community behind it and there're various software applications you can install on the server. Your OS selection will also determine exactly what hosting Control Panel can be set up on the VPS if you would like to use one and because of this we offer multiple Control Panels as well. In case you decide that you need a different OS, our tech support can quickly wipe the existing one and install the one that you would like. In addition, we offer an optional service to have the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're cost-free and they will not increase the cost of your new hosting server, but also because they are extremely secure and stable. Each of them is supported by a big community of developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from countless software packages that you may install on your server in case the app that you would like to employ has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what web hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with particular OSs only and since we want to give you as much flexibility as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a given OS, we can change it upon request in case it turns out that you will need alternative one. We can also keep your OS updated weekly as a part of our additional Managed Services upgrade.
